This is my town. It is small and charming. It doesn't really offer a lot, but during festivals and events the streets fill up with familiar faces greeting each other and catching up on what happened to who. Its the kind of place were people usually know your business but are quick to help each other when needed. Its been growing a lot lately. It seems the recession has not hurt our community has much as others. Lots of new business's are going in and a new college will be here soon. I have lived in large cities, military bases, and small towns. I know what happens when developers target a area for future business. Although a lot is gained for all who live in a small and upcoming town, sometimes a little bit is lost. I can see our brick streets being paved and the old dry cleaning sign being replaced with neon lights. I no the rusty old buildings will get updated and some really need it.
